Last night I went to Kay n Dave’s in Downtown Culver City for dinner, I was craving tacos, with my co-worker. We decided to unwind with a few drinks. I ordered the Ginger Raspberry Mojitio and Denielle ordered a Mezcal Margarita. Food wise I had the Pick 2 Combo: Crispy Chicken Taco and Grilled Chicken Taco with spanish rice and black beans. (I had my tacos “old style” with lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese) Danielle had the Charbroiled Carnitas wich came with black beans and spanish rice.
Service: 4 Foodie Points (it wasn’t crowded so I was able to sit immediately, chips and salsa were brought out immediately, and the waitress was really good.)
Food: 4 Foodie Points (Not a huge fan of the spanish rice… well I’m always a messy eater lol. But the grilled chicken taco was great.)

Even though we just came from brunch the restaurants smelled AMAZING so we decided to eat… well I decided to eat lol
Sunday Brunch was at Blu Jam Cafe, located on Melrose. I was SO hungry since I didn’t have anything thing to eat before church. I decided on Rancheros, better know as Huevos Rancheros, plus a side of bacon, crispy. *Sidenote: I LOVE BACON*

Saturday Night I went out with my boys and my new boys lol and of course I was hungry. One of the bars we stopped at, Bru Haus, still had their kitchen open. i just wanted to order something small to tied me over for a bit. So the waitress suggested I try the sweet potato tots, I’m so glad I did. These were AMAZING and I’m definitely going back to get more.

So on Wednesday my co-worker asked me if I wanted to go to the Clippers vs Nuggets game, ummm YEAH. So after the game, Clippers won, we went to Yard House at LA Live. I’ve been here a few times and it’s one of my favorite places for Happy Hour, cheap food, cheap drinks and they’re good. See Below for full menu. Our waiter was Antquan aka Q, he was so much fun, had us all laughing, and made sure the service was on point.

This post is a few days late, I went to Tender Greens in Downtown Culver City Wednesday for lunch. I love this place it’s one of my favorite places to eat. As long as you get there early enough the line isn’t bad. The way Tender Greens works, you order your food then the line continues to the cash register where you pick up your food. While in line it also gives you a chance to see if you want any sweets before you pay. Every time I go they usually have different deserts. I got my usual Salt and Pepper Chicken with a Caesar salad and mashed potatoes. Their chicken and mashed potatoes are my favorite, I think next time I’ll try the BBQ chicken.
